A proud DMV native, Caitlin Fuller was born in Washington, D.C. and raised between Virginia and Maryland. Her journey into emergency medical services began in 2014 when she answered what she describes as her life’s purpose — helping people during their most vulnerable moments.

A proud DMV native, Caitlin Fuller was born in Washington, D.C. and raised between Virginia and Maryland. Her journey into emergency medical services began in 2014 when she answered what she describes as her life’s purpose — helping people during their most vulnerable moments.
That calling began long before her EMT certification. Raised by her grandparents, Caitlin remembers caring for her great-grandmother and learning early what compassion in healthcare truly means. When her great-grandmother’s blood sugar would drop, Caitlin would run to bring her orange juice and ice cream, helping stabilize her during moments of altered mental status. Her great-grandmother would go on to live nearly 100 years, leaving Caitlin with a lifelong example of care, patience, and dedication to loved ones.
Caitlin began her EMS career volunteering as an EMT with Prince George’s County from 2014 to 2017, where she gained valuable experience serving her community. She later worked primarily in interfacility transport (IFT) and the non-emergency medical transport sector, developing extensive knowledge of patient mobility, clinical safety, and operational efficiency.
Throughout her career, Caitlin has served as a Field Training Officer (FTO), mentoring new EMTs and helping shape the next generation of providers. While she now works more behind the scenes in leadership, she still believes in staying connected to the field and remains willing to ride when needed.
As Senior Field Operations Director and Co-Founder of Rapid Response Transport, Caitlin oversees company operations including staff training, hiring, compliance, and field performance. Her leadership focuses on building a team that delivers not only reliable transportation but compassionate care for every patient.
Caitlin is a strong advocate for improving healthcare experiences within Black and underserved communities, particularly for African American women and people of color who have historically faced disparities in medical care. She believes that true patient care requires empathy, patience, and the ability to see every patient as someone’s loved one.
Her philosophy is simple:
“Treat every patient the way you would treat your best loved one — and even your worst enemy. Compassion is not optional; it is the foundation of care.”
Through Rapid Response Transport, Caitlin is committed to building a company where patient dignity, safety, and compassion are never sacrificed for profit.
